Release Notes

More time watching. Less time figuring out where you left off.

Highlights from updates to the website. iPhone features depend on the app build installed on your device; a website update does not update the iPhone app.

Watch at your own pace

Wait for the whole season

Prefer to binge? Turn on Wait for full season for a show on a list. Its next unwatched season stays in Coming up until every episode has aired, with a ready-to-binge date when the schedule is known. Each list can choose its own pace.

Air dates help you plan; streaming availability can vary by service and season.

More ways to sign in

Sign in with Apple, or connect Apple to your existing Google account from Settings to keep your lists and progress together. You can also permanently delete your account from Settings.

A clearer view of your lists

TV and movie lists now have more consistent layouts and Add controls. Up Next is easier to scan, with clearer episode labels and streaming-service logos.

Make shared lists your own

Choose a profile handle so friends can recognize you, and manage list names, members, invitations, and ownership in one place. List settings show the controls available for your role.

A home for movies, too

Keep movie nights organized alongside your shows, with separate TV Lists and Movie Lists. Search for titles, add them to a list, and track what you've watched.

Invite people to watch together or give them view-only access to follow a list. Up Next brings your next episodes together, with your preferred streaming services and the lists you choose.
